Wasatch Alum Avery Tanner came to speak to students today
Wasatch Alum Avery Tanner came to speak to students today, as a guest speaker in one of our Tutorial labs. In April, Avery fell 25 feet, while rappelling with her prom group. Avery suffered a severe brain injury, and after waking from a coma, had to learn how to walk and talk again. Avery talked today about how everyone goes through hard things and about how important it is to never lose hope. "Be a fighter," Avery said, as you work to overcome the hard times in your life. "Remember, you all have a voice. Speak up. And, live your life, because you never know what could be ahead."
