As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.
Welcome to our Web Page. We have wonderful classes this year and the days already seem to be flying by. The classes are always so busy that we are surprised when the bell rings and can hardly believe it when it's time to go home!
My name is Candyce Barrett and I have been teaching in the Wasatch District for 23 years and this is my 29th year of teaching. I have taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 5th grade, and now Art for a total of 28yrs.
I graduated from Wasatch High School and received my B.S. from BYU. I studied Art at BYU for 3 years before going into Education. Some of the things I have done and been involved with:
- 1998 I received the State Economics Teacher of the year.
- 2002 I received my Masters in Education Degree.
- 2004 District Art Teacher of the year.
- 2005 ACE Award for excellence in the school.
- 2006 I completed my ELL endorsement.
- 2009 Honored Citizen of Midway with my Father, Rex Barrett
- 2016 Elementary Art Endorsement
- I am currently working on a Secondary Art endorsement for grades K-12..
I love teaching and working with young people. I love to read and I love to teach children to love reading. I also love animals, as you can tell from the picture
