Hello students and families!  I am honored to teach at Timpanogos Middle School in the Special Education department.  I moved to Heber City with my husband and three daughters in June 2018.  I am originally from Anchorage, Alaska, but have lived in Oregon, Washington and California as well.  I was born in Los Angeles, California.  Education has always been my passion. My teaching career began over twenty years ago, when I taught preschool at a center for child development. Since then, I have had an eclectic career teaching everything from pre-k, first grade, third grade, sixth grade, middle school English, high school history, a principal internship at a middle and high school, and my most proud achievement; homeschooling my three daughters for three years through grades pre-k, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th,  and 6th

    Education:

In 2002, I received my Bachelor of Education (K-8) degree from the University of Alaska Anchorage. In 2008, I earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership with a K-12 Principal Endorsement. My experience in education has been in public, private and charter schools in Alaska, Oregon, Washington, and Utah. As an educator, my absolute focus is on being a positive influence in the lives of children and helping to guide them toward their “ah-ha” moments.   I look forward to working with your child this year.
