This is my second year at Wasatch High School, and my eighth year teaching. I teach English 9 Honors and English 10. Before coming to Wasatch, I taught in Springville.
I grew up in Arizona, but have been in Utah since starting my undergrad. I have a bachelor’s degree in English with minors in editing and music, and I recently received my master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. In my free time, I love hiking, music, reading, spending time with family, and learning how to do new things (this summer that meant lots of home DIY projects). I have traveled to seventeen countries; some of my favorite places are London, Peru, and Montana.
If you are in my class, be prepared to work hard, think deeply, and voice opinions every class period. I plan to keep you learning and finishing this year a stronger reader, writer, critical thinker, and collaborator.
