• Welcome To Mrs. Wilson's Child Development class!
I am excited to be back to teaching!  I taught for 2 years in the Jordan School District,  then took a break to have my 5 children.  I have 4 girls and 1 boy and a wonderful husband of 19 years.
My parents raised me to have a love for learning!  I received my associate degree at Dixie College (where I met my husband, a W.H.S.Graduate)   While attending Dixie I also went to Hairitage Hair academy and earned my Cosmetology license.  I attended Utah State University (Go AGGIES!) and received my bachelor degree in Family and Consumer Science Education.  My husband graduated USU with his degree in Flight Tecchnology.  He is a pilot for Delta Airlines.  We have lived in Midway for 14 years and have enjoyed every minute of this beautiful valley.
Our family loves to travel, drive tractors on the farm, play together, support each other at soccer, piano and many other activities.
    Class information:
Child development is the study of children and their growth and development as they move through various stages of life. Students will receive practical, usable skills to assist them in becoming better educated and better prepared caregivers, siblings, parents, and citizens.
Class will include: daily reflections, children’s book and song evaluations, speakers, assignments, tests, observations, projects, group work, child activities, and CTE state competency test.
Canvas:  I will put all assignments on Canvas.  I will hand out a packet at the first of a Unit.  If you lose it, you are free to print another packet on canvas.  All content can be located there.
I only teach on Even days, 8th period.  If you need to stay after school on Mondays, I will be there on Even days ( the day that I teach)  So that will be 2 Monday's a month.
