• Uninstall Internet Explorer 9 for Vista and Windows 7
    The directions below will remove Internet Explorer 9 from Vista and Windows 7 machines and restore Internet Explorer to its original version.
    1. Close all programs
    2. Click Start, and then click Control Panel
    3. Click Programs and Features
    4. In the Tasks pane at the upper left of the screen, click View installed updates
    5. In the list of installed updates, within the updates group for Microsoft Windows, double-click Windows Internet Explorer 9
    6. Click Uninstall at the top of the dialog box, and then click Yes to the question “Do you want to Uninstall the update? ”
    7. When the uninstall program is finished, you will be prompted to restart your computer
    8. After you restart your computer, open Internet Explorer
    9. Click About Internet Explorer on the Help menu. If Internet Explorer 7 or 8 appears in the About Internet Explorer dialog box, then you have successfully completed your reversion to the previous version of Internet Explorer
