Mrs. Lana Wright

Assistant Principal

Mrs. Wright is a native of Heber City and 2004 graduate of Wasatch High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Utah Valley University while on a rodeo scholarship, and her Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction (emphasis in English Language Learner and Dual Language Instruction) from American College of Education. Mrs. Wright has worked in education for 12 years, with roles at Heber Valley Elementary that included 4th grade teacher, 3rd grade Dual Language Immersion teacher, and ELL teacher. She also taught adult education for two years, and served as an Instructional Coach at Daniels Canyon Elementary before joining the District Office as the K-12 Literacy Specialist. Mrs. Wright lives in Midway with her husband and daughter, Jewell. Regarding teaching in Wasatch, Mrs. Wright states, “I am so proud to be teaching in Wasatch alongside teachers and leaders who inspired me while growing up. I want to bring the same inspirations to our current students, believing in them and helping their future dreams come true."
