    I can subitize and quickly count the number of dots on a dice.

    Subitizing is an important part of developing basic number sense skills. It helps me to see numbers in patterns and will give me stronger number sense skills overall.

    Look at the dice and quickly count and state how many dots are on the dice.

    success I will know I have learned to subitize and quickly count the number of dots on a dice when:  I roll the dice and quickly count and state the correct number of dots.
