    Dear Students and Families,

             I have absolutely loved seeing your activity pictures!  There are so many fun ways to stay active in our area.  It’s good to see your smiling faces.  You are looking happy and well.  Keep up the great activities and remember to post them (with adult permission) for us to enjoy.

    OME P.E. Photos

    This Monday is May the 4th.  If you are a Star Wars fan this is a fun time to celebrate May the 4th be with you!  I found some activities to try for this week of Star Wars celebration.  Working out to Star Wars music (or any music) can make a work-out more interesting and fun.  The dance is geared toward older students, but it is something you may want to try.  You could also show your creativity and make up your own Star Wars dance moves for the dance section.  The main idea is to HAVE FUN WITH IT!



                The Wasatch County Health Department is still sponsoring the Mile by Mile Marathon for us.  We won’t meet all together at an end date, but you can still do the activity and earn a medal for finishing by May 28th.  I have posted links to the tracking sheet and more instructions at the bottom of this letter, but here is the information you will need to get started.

     Place the tracking form at home in a noticeable place as a reminder to mark off activity

    Þ  30 minutes of physical activity counts as 1 mile (soccer, bike riding, swimming, hiking, etc)

    • Þ  Participants must mail in the tracking form to the Wasatch County Health Department, c/o Health Promotion, 55 S 500 E, Heber City, UT 84032; or email to HE@wasatch.utah.gov in order to receive a medal for finishing BY May 28th.
