    Welcome!
    I love to teach and strive to make my classroom a safe environment full of love, acceptance, learning and growth.  My role as a teacher is to assist each child in developing their potential.  I incorporate different learning styles in my curriculum, as well as try to make the content relevant to the student's lives.  I incoproate hands-on learning, cooperative learning, projects, themes and individual work that engages active learning and participation.  I teach according to Confucius' philosophy:
    "I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I DO and I understand."
