    Welcome to the Counselor Web Page.  I am Mr. Whitmore and I feel lucky to be here at Midway Elementary.  Most of the students will know me from the playground.  I love working with students to make the playground a safe and fun place for all students to enjoy.  When students enjoy their recess experience we find they also accomplish more in the classroom.  
     
    This is my 19th year as a school counselor.  Previously, I have been the counselor at JR Smith Elementary, Rocky Mountain Middle School, Heber Valley Elementary. For 8 years worked as a behavior support specialist in the Canyons School District. This is my third year as a Wrangler.
