Words from Mrs. Mecham

I am excited to work once again as Timpanogos Intermediate School's vice-principal.  I look forward to helping make this year the best year at T.I.S.  Having grown up in the Heber Valley and attending school here, I know what a great school district we have and I am honored to be a part of it.  I love that my job gives me the opportunity to interact with all the students of T.I.S. in different capacities as I work with them daily in a variety of ways.

I love to read and love to learn.  I try the best I can to help students find a love for these things too.  I am always looking for new ways to learn and new ideas to use in education.  Although I am constantly looking for classes to take to increase my education, I find that working with students is often where I learn the most beneficial lessons.

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Jason, and together we have four amazing and mischievous children. Wyatt 23, Rylie 20, Dyllon 13, and Hadlie 10.  As a family we love to spend time together in the outdoors, or simply playing games, cuddling on the couch watching movies, or just laughing together.

As I continue on this adventure in education, I need to say thanks to all the parents that have entrusted me with their children over the years, whether as a teacher or an administrator.  I have loved it and love them!!  To all the students, thank you for what you have taught me and know that you have a special place in my heart!!  You have changed me for the better!

I look forward to the opportunity of working with the students of T.I.S. once again.  We have a great school with wonderful teachers that amaze me in the way they love and teach our students.  They are phenomenal!!!  Thanks for the help and support that is shown by the parents to the faculty and staff of T.I.S.  We truly have the best P.T.A. and parent volunteers there are.

I look forward to another great year of learning from the children of T.I.S.  I honestly believe that they make me a better person because of the many things I learn from them on a daily basis.
