NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT INSTRUCTIONS 

Welcome to the valley!  We are excited that you will be a part of the greatest district in the state! If you need to enroll a NEW student, there are a few steps that must be followed to ensure that you are properly enrolled. 

Step 1 – On August 1, our enrollment link for all NEW students will be available. You will need to click on the link and follow the instructions to fill out the required forms. You must fill out the required forms and information ONLINE before doing anything else. This link for new student registration is: https://sams.wasatch.edu/SAMSPortal/en_main.jsp 

Step 2 – Starting August 8 for Wasatch High and August 10 for the rest of the schools, (this includes all elementary schools, Timpanogos Intermediate and Rocky Mountain Middle), you will need to bring to the school your student’s birth certificate and proof of immunizations. 

Step 3 - The school’s Registrar will then verify your birth certificate and immunizations  and will pull up the forms that you filled out online. The Registrar will print them out and create a file for your student. 

Step 4 – Once you have received clearance from your school’s Registrar, you will then be able to meet with the school’s counselors to set up a schedule – or for the elementary schools, you will be assigned a homeroom teacher. 

Step 5 – Pay required registration fees. 

And that’s it – Your student will officially be part of Wasatch County School District.
